I really can't wait to watched this movie. Another reason is me really adore the actor behind it. Let me introduced who is he is Mr James Franco. This gentleman is not new in this scene, he have few good movie on his sleeve example Spiderman movie enterprise. I just simply adore him and psssst ladies he also among model for Gucci Man. Enough to say that he got some good style huh?! heheee! you be the judge and I'm just sharing....

#379. . .Awesome night, its burlesque night!

Yesterday was an awesome night for me!!

I have the free ticket for the special screening of BURLESQUE starring the Cher, Christina Aguilera, and many more. Without any high expectation i went to the movie, but surprisingly me, Mr Kecik and my gals really enjoys it!...

To me and him its really bring our childhood memoir :) heheeee!!
Hope all of you had fun last night!!! many other outing in the future *wink* wink* from little shopping for Osheen and Enny, to great dinner at Delicious, One Utama to Q&A session.

All of this bring smile to ma face :)

My comment about this movie is the best performance from Christine Aguilera.Maybe many critics about this movie, but to me this bring a new flavor to our movie industry.  :)

I'm really not in the good state of mind. Lately its hard for me to sleep nor to rest. Many thing on ma mind, dateline all over ma face as ma boss its not around. After 4 days of leave i feel a bit cranky. Hahaaa!

Ma main goal to settle all ma task today and ensure all ma task been done as been discuss before. Plus, i realized that its really hard to talk to person that doesn't understand the art of communication. Truthfully, its pain in ma ass but life is cruel right? I will take it one step at times.

Take me to wonderland as i wanna leave this cruel society! Motif? Erk....Have a great day peeps...;-P

I caught the trailer of Life as We Know It out of the corner of my consciousness and immediately dismissed it as a waste of my time..

I saw it last week and I enjoyed the movie (and cried the whole through!) Yes! me admit me EMO! and loved how easy it was to watch despite the heavy background story line. This being said, it is a great movie to watch with your girlfriends AND men in your life! Go and watched it ;)

The acting is great including that of little Sophie! As a parent you will totally relate and observe many small details and occurrences. And I can't stop going back to the way Messer was holding little Sophie in a semi-sitting n I am carrying a ball like position that actually look very comfortable for baby. And Sophie was taking her first steps in the movie, little does this couple know what that means!

I could go on and on you know! So to wrap this movie up, here are some lessons I've learned that I need to highlight :

• Draw up your will, your revocable trust, and guardianship instructions, especially if in the future if i have a child.and get life insurance for him or her
• Trying not to cry, as I did during this film, makes my eyeliner all over ma eyes (and end up mata lebam macam kena tumbuk), and I should just give up earlier to the facade and weep. It’s far less painful.
• Men who are good with kids are super sexy. Especially if they look like Josh Duhamel.
  (This is super duper YUMMMMMMMY!!!!!!)
• Romantic comedies also bash men too much.
• Make sure your decision about your life partner or commitment  
• Eleven isn’t too young to be a good babysitter or whisperer.

So despite the heavy parts, Life As We Know It was indeed a distracting bit of entertainment, so go watch it guys!

I really want to watch this movie, i have to admit that i wanna to watch this not because of "story it self"but i wanna see the three gorgeous man!!!Hahaaaaaa!!As me mention to ma GF just now..i be delighted to watched this yummylicious man but here some review of this movie.


The Story

Idris Elba stars as Gordon, the leader of a gang of skilled robbers who never rush jobs, always do their homework, and don't mind blowing up stuff in order to score large amounts of cash. And of course his gang's made up of colorful characters. Brothers Jesse (Chris Brown) and Jake (Michael Ealy) have differing opinions on how to handle their jailbird father. John (Paul Walker) is Gordon's closest friend and confidante, a steadying force and the voice of reason. And AJ (Hayden Christensen) is a hat-loving fashion plate whose job it is to handle all the explosives.

An ex-member of the crew, Ghost (Tip TI Harris), just got out of jail after serving a lengthy sentence for one of their robberies. He's got a hot tip about an armored car carrying millions, but the gang's leery about A) trusting him, B) whether he actually has the inside scoop, and C) pulling off a job so soon after their last bank heist and with only a week to get the layout of the land and set everything up. But despite their misgivings, they go ahead with the heist because the money's just too huge to say no to.

This movie was a surprising thrill ride from start to finish. Chris Brown and T.I. were unbelievable. Chris Brown surprises all in this film. His nail biting chase scene resembled a Jackie Chan thrill ride. I have seen this film twice and will see it again.

#86... From Uncle Krueger to the LOVE of Juliet

Two days filled with many activities that i like to do with ma Loves ones. Saturdays me and ma mon petite ami went out for an outing from movie to taking picture. Thank you again for teaching me, sorry me not the techno gadget gurl. Huhuhuh! Herm..the thing that i wanna share is the movie that i watch on last weekend. Manage to squeeze our time to watch movie, even me n him kinda bz lately.

Enough of that,

I'm not a good date or a good company if come to horror movie. Trust me i will scream on top of ma vocal like nobody business.Poor me as well he really likes this type of genre so sometime i tend to close ma eye almost half of the movie.hehheeee! so that i get the nightmare at night's. Yes i have to admit that i did read this story before but did not finished it as i lost interest with the book of course. Haha! This time the effect it good the to bad the story line is kinda empty. Much diffrent compared to previous movie before this 2010 version.Hey! this ma honest opinion about this movie and will share the synopsis of this movie later.

Letter of Juliet

This movie i read on this magazine, sorry can remember which but the review make me impress of this movie. As we both on que to buy the tickets either the shrek or this movie. I suggest this movie to him and I'm really glad we choose this. Heheh! many thing that i like about the movie from the feeling of lost the person that we love, to childhood memory lane to the simple manners that we can imply in our daily life.

I vote 4 star for this movie, and this heartless, selfish fiancee takes the advantages in many ways. So Ladies, open yer eyes, huhuhuh! i didn't mean in a bad way but in other way to deal with the relationship and always listen to our heart.

*A Nightmare on Elm Street

Forget about the plot, the actors and the director. What you require to make a new "Nightmare on Elm Street" are these three off-the-shelf sound effects: 1. A sudden, loud clanging noise mixed with a musical chord. 2. Snicker-snack sounds, which Freddy Krueger's steel finger claws make every time they are seen. 3. A voice deepener, to drop Freddy's speaking voice to an ominous level.

On top of that, you need your sudden cuts, your lighting from below, your thump-thump-thumps and of course a dog that barks at something unseen in the night, so that your teenage heroine can go out on the lawn in bare feet and flimsy PJs and call "Rufus! Rufus! Here, boy!" You know in your bones that Rufus is now checking into Doggie Heaven.

Oh, and actors. Lots of Dead Teenagers, seen in the last moments of their lives, when they enjoy a farewell Moment of Deceptive Safety just before there's a sudden loud clanging noise and the snicker-snack claws disembowel them and Freddy rumbles, You have nothing to worry about. This won't hurt one … little ... bit.

The 2010 edition of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" is number 8 1/2 in the series. I arrive at that number not out of a desperate desire to be seeing the Fellini film instead, but because "Freddy vs. Jason" (2003) should in all fairness count for half a film on this list, and half a film on the "Friday the 13th" list.

It is sad to think of all those Dead Teenagers. They were played by ambitious, talented young actors, some of them now in their 40s, who survived grueling auditions for the honor of being slashed by Freddy. Some of them are now successful: Johnny Depp, for example. Robert Englund became famous playing Freddy, but where can that lead when you're always wearing a mask of makeup. Now Jackie Earle Haley plays the role. For what purpose? He might as well play Santa Claus.

It was 26 long years ago when Freddy first began to haunt the nightmares of the children of Elm Street in Springwood, Ohio. At least 137 victims have been claimed by Freddy in the years since then, but the shady little street is still lined with handsome homes, and hasn't been leveled, covered with ashes and sprinkled with holy water. The franchise was founded by Wes Craven, the Ray Kroc of horror, who made the excellent "Wes Craven's New Nightmare" (1994), about Freddy haunting the dreams of the makers of the "Nightmare" movies.

Freddy is not a good argument for a supernatural existence. He can live inside wallpaper, appear anywhere and has no need of physical existence, except, arguably, when he inflicts actual physical damage. Yet he's such a bore, always growling away with his deep-voiced hahahahaha. If a man leads an interesting life, he ought to be able to make good conversation, is what I say.

I stared at "A Nightmare on Elm Street" with weary resignation. The movie consists of a series of teenagers who are introduced, haunted by nightmares and then slashed to death by Freddy. So what? Are we supposed to be scared? Is the sudden clanging chord supposed to evoke a fearful Pavlovian response? For Rufus, maybe, but not for me. Here, boy.

*Letter to Juliet

I know “Letters to Juliet” is a soppy melodrama, and I don’t mind in the least. I know the ending is preordained from the setup. I know the characters are broad and comforting stereotypes. In this case, I simply don’t care. Sometimes we have personal reasons for responding to a film.

“Letters to Juliet” is about Sophie (Amanda Seyfried), an American girl who visits Verona with the man she’s engaged to marry (Gael Garcia Bernal). He’s always leaving her behind to investigate wine and truffles for his New York restaurant. She visits the house allegedly inhabited by Shakespeare’s Juliet. Below the balcony there, lovelorn women for years have posted “letters to Juliet,” asking for advice.

Sophie finds a letter 50 years old, written by a young British girl about a Tuscan boy she met, fell in love with and allowed to fall out of her life. Sophie writes to the girl, the letter amazingly finds its way, and soon Claire (Vanessa Redgrave) and her grandson Charlie (Christopher Egan) arrive in Verona. So now, if we’re experienced moviegoers, we know what must happen by the end of the story.

All of this is wrapped up in unimaginably beautiful shots of the Italian countryside, the warmth of the friendship between Sophie and Claire, and visits to many of the men named Lorenzo Bartolini, which was the name of the boy Claire loved so long ago. A hard-hearted realist would suggest that Sophie help Claire check out the possible Lorenzo Bartolinis by use of the phone, but no. “Letters to Juliet” requires the three of them to visit the candidates in person, leading to a series of false leads and at last, of course, to the real Lorenzo Bartolini (Franco Nero).

As it happens, this story stirred memories of romantic memories in my own life. Once in a small hill town outside Rome, under a full moon, I stood before the balcony being used by Franco Zeffirelli for his great film “Romeo and Juliet” (1968), and heard Nino Rota hum his theme music to Zeffirelli. Some years later, I stood beneath the “Juliet’s Balcony” in Verona itself with a woman dear to my heart and saw the notes pinned to the wall.

And the very first movie set I ever visited, before I was yet a movie critic, was “Camelot” (1967). On that set I met and interviewed Vanessa Redgrave, who was not yet 30, and Franco Nero, who was 26. They played Guenevere and Lancelot. They fell in love on the set, married and had a child. Finally on New Year’s Eve 2006, they married. Even earlier, Franco walked Vanessa’s daughter Natasha Richardson down the aisle when she married Liam Neeson.

So you see, when Vanessa marries Franco 40 years after falling in love with him, and they are playing characters who meet after 50 years, and this all has to do with Juliet’s balcony — reader, what am I to do? I am helpless before such forces.

Vanessa Redgrave recently lost her sister Lynn. I met Lynn once on London. I went to her house for tea. This was not long after the success of “Georgy Girl.” My interview has been lost in the past, but I remember the feeling of the day, Lynn sitting cross-legged on the carpet beside to her coffee table, smoking and jolly, a famous actress friendly to an unknown kid her own age.

I have strayed far from the film. But I’ve told you what you need to know about it. I also want to observe that our response to every film depends on the person we bring to it. Pauline Kael said she went to a movie, and the movie happened, and she wrote about what changed within her after she saw it. This is quite valid. Sometimes, however, we go to a movie, and our lives have happened, and we write about what hasn’t changed.

Unlike other girls or guys at my age like this guy, but to me it like my very first love. The first time i seen this movie i kinda make him one of my heroes..;)) so coincidence yesterday me and my mon petite ami manage to get this ticket to watching especially on the night of the premier. This moon face gurl so elated...

So far this one of the best movie for this year, will be one of my favorite. Will i watch it for the second time, Yes! hehheeeee ;-P...

Well, they did it again. Academy Award-winner Russel Crowe teamed up once more with director Ridley Scott — a cooperation that gave us Gladiator (2000) — to do Robin Hood, with Crowe in the title role.

This is not the only team-up that Crowe is revisiting. Robin Hood producer Brian Grazer also worked with him on A Beautiful Mind (2001) and American Gangster (2007), while screenwriter Brian Helgeland worked with Crowe previously on L.A. Confidential (1997). All those movies were successful, and Robin Hood seems set to add another notch on Crowe's oversized belt.

The story is set in 13th century England, where Robin and his band of marauders confront corruption in a local village and challenge the crown to alter the balance of power between the king and all of his subjects. Whether outlaw or hero, one man from humble beginnings will become an eternal symbol of freedom for his people. Or so says the synopsis

Robin Hood chronicles the life of an expert archer and soldier, previously interested only in self-preservation, while in service of King Richard I’s army against the French. Upon Richard’s death, Robin travels to Nottingham, a town suffering from the corruption of a despotic sheriff and crippling taxation, where he falls for the spirited widow Lady Marion (played by Cate Blanchett), a woman skeptical of the identity and motivations of this crusader from the forest.

Hoping to earn the hand of Maid Marion and salvage the village, Robin assembles a gang whose lethal mercenary skills are matched only by their appetite for life. With their country weakened from decades of war, embattled from the ineffective rule of the new king and vulnerable to insurgencies from within and threats from afar, Robin and his men heed a call to ever greater adventure. This unlikeliest of heroes and his allies set off to protect their country from slipping into bloody civil war and return glory to England once more.

However, this re-imagining of the English normfolk figure does not show the same grand spectacle as Gladiator, as deep and meaningful as A Beautiful Mind or as dramatic as L.A. Confidential. Robin Hood is not a bad movie.

Far from it, this movie is quite enjoyable. In fact, you can tell from the beginning that this is a different story than a lot of other Robin Hood incarnations, in particular the Kevin Costner vehicle, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991), Mel Brook's Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993) as well as various other adaptations.

Usually, the accepted ending to a Robin Hood story is the return of King Richard I, ending all problems with Prince John. As pointed out before, this is actually taken from Sir Walter Scott's novel Ivanhoe, which also features Robin Hood as a supporting character.

In this movie, King Richard I dies in the first 10 minutes, potentially making audiences familiar with other Robin Hood tales curious as to how this version will unfold. This is a master-stroke of storytelling, as it makes the tired story fresh again.

Furthermore, Robin Hood has always been left-leaning in its philosophies and politics. 'Rob the rich to give to the poor' might as well be early beginnings of Socialism or even a well-structured economy which relies on taxes. Robin Hood takes this further and turns it, somewhere in the movie, into a rousing speech against England's tyrannical monarchy under King John. In fact, Crowe could have been reading some sort of democratic proclamation of a sorts, as English warlords rebel against the king's brutal taxation in the midst of a French sneak attack

The best thing about Robin Hood is the acting. Crowe and Blanchett can certainly pull off a great Robin Hood and Maid Marion — the mature version, of course. Both showed why they won Academy Awards before with a simple yet endearing portrayal of budding love amidst older people.

The rest of the cast were also entertaining to watch, especially Oscar Isaac who plays Prince John. His perverted, spoiled, insecure portrayal is very reminiscent of young people promoted into positions of power. The big battle scenes were fairly fun to watch, though it must be said that Prince of Thieves had more impact with the drama as well as the action.

However, Costner's acting in that movie is nowhere near Crowe's silent, deadly figure. If only there were more engaging plot points in Robin Hood, it would have been a better watch. While at first this seems like an attempt to make the story more realistic, that soon falls apart as Marion joins the fight in what can only be described as a last-ditch 'Bollywood-esque' attempt at theatrics.

Many thing had happen today, From stupid to headache issue...much heartless Thursday i think.

Let's put that aside and i want to share about this movie, Yes, many other movie like Ironman 2, The Loser, Toystory, IpMan2 and others are showing right now,however this really caught my attention, Mother and Child. Yesterday i watched the video and a while ago i read the synopsis and the review of this movie. Cut the story short, its a MUST see Movie. Weird is i really wanted to watch it today...but dont know yet.

The Synopsis of this Movie **

Almost forty years ago, a young girl of 14 has sex, gets pregnant, and gives her baby up for adoption. Fast-forwarding to the present day, we meet three very different women, each of whom struggles to maintain control of their lives. There's Elizabeth (Naomi Watts), a smart and successful lawyer who uses her body to her advantage. Any time she feels that she doesn't have the upper hand, and cannot control the situation, she uses her sex appeal - whether that be starting a romance with her boss (Samuel L. Jackson) when she suspects he is trying to start one himself, or finding some way to control her overly friendly neighbor and husband (Carla Gallo and Marc Blucas). Karen (Annette Bening), meanwhile, is a bitter health care professional who obviously has a lot of heart but never shows it. She gave up a daughter at the age of 14 (wonderfully shown rather than told, she is the young girl and mother of Elizabeth), and has never gotten over it - her bitterness inspiring her to lash out at everyone around her - even the gentle man at work who is undeniably drawn to her (Jimmy Smits). Finally, Lucy (Kerry Washington) is a woman who has failed to conceive with her husband, so she turns to adoption to make the family she desires.

The Review of this movie **

‘Mother and Child’: You can’t beat the bond'

Schematic though it may be, “Mother and Child” packs a punch, though a graceful one, to be sure. It unwraps its surprises in ways that pay off as the movie goes on.

The subject is adoption, as it has touched three different lives. One is Karen (Annette Bening), a physical therapist who is middle-aged and single and still lives with her ailing mother. She’s a prickly, defensive woman who, we discover, still suffers regrets from the decision – made by her mother – to give up the baby Karen had as a 15-year-old and move on with her life.

The second is Elizabeth (Naomi Watts), an ice-veined and ambitious attorney who has no strong family ties to speak of. She is a self-sufficient single who was given up for adoption as a baby and reared by adoptive parents. But she is a lone wolf, wary of emotional entanglements.

The third is Lucy (Kerry Washington), who learns that, though they desperately want children, she and her husband are unable to conceive. So they find a pregnant teen and convince her that they are the perfect couple to raise the baby she’s not prepared to parent. But Lucy discovers that her husband has stronger feelings about the topic of adoption than he was willing to admit.

Each of these three characters slips in and out of the alternating roles of mother and child, to each other and in their daily lives. Though the plotline pulls the three central characters together in a not-wholly-unexpected way, Garcia keeps his film fluid without tipping his hand about twists.

Each of the women feels incomplete in ways she can’t explain, perhaps even to herself. There is a connection that has been broken, one that no other tie can replace. They struggle well into their adult lives before they’re able to take steps toward reconnection.

Bening plays Karen with a mixture of sadness and high-strung anger. She finds that flinchy quality of someone used to being the brunt of unkind remarks, who can’t quite find a personal rhythm to deal with positive attention when it comes

Watts is her opposite: flinty and flirty and very me-first. There’s a hunger to Watts’ performance, though it may also be the need to devour before being devoured. Washington, by contrast, is the caring, thoughtful young woman who longs desperately to nurture another human being by being a mother. The male roles are smaller but meaningful, including Samuel L. Jackson in an unexpected turn as Elizabeth’s easily enticed boss and Jimmy Smits, as a colleague of Karen who eventually finds a way to breach her significant defenses.

Motherhood is as powerful a force as any other human imperative, something Garcia gets at without ever stating it explicitly. “Mother and Child” explores that eternal bond with a sense of drama that is touching and affecting.
