#372...On important things in life

1. Never give up on anybody; miracles happen everyday.

2.Be brave even if your not, pretend to be. No one can tell the difference.

3. Think big thoughts, relish small pleasures.

4. Learn to listen. Opportunity sometimes knocks very softly.

5. Never deprive someone of hope, it might be all they have.

6. Strive for excellence, not perfection.

7. Don’t waste time greifving over past mistakes. Learn from them and move on.

8. When someone hugs you let them be the first to let go.

9. Never cut what can be untied.

10. Don’t expect life to be fair.

11. Remember:Success comes to the one that acts first.

12. Never waste an oppurtunity to tell someone you love them.

13. Remember that nobody makes it alone. Have a greatful heart and be quick to acknowledge those who help you.

14. Never underestimate the power of a kind word or deed.

15. Laugh alot.A good sense of humor cures almost all of life’s ills.

16. Don’t miss the magic of the moment by focusing on whats to come.

17. Watch for big problems. They disguise big oppurtunities.

#411...On sharing information

1. Drink one glass of water every hour. It will make you feel full.

2. Drink ice cold water. Your body will burn calories just getting the water to a normal temperature to digest. Also it is great for your complexion.

3. Drink 3 cups of green tea daily. It will help boost your metabolism, plus its anti-oxidants make your skin look great.

4. Take vitamins daily. Do not take vitamins on an empty stomach, otherwise they have nothing to catalyze with.

5. Eat ice or gum when hungry. This will make your body think it had food without the calories.

#336...Lesson of LIFE

Its a long freaking day for me! From back to back meeting, proposal and dateline. Gosh! i really miss my own time. I think my own time, is only when I'm in the TOILET! hahaaaaa....But today its really remind me how "GREAT is AL-MIGHTY". I see all this in less than 24 hours and still counting.

This what i can recall in between 24 hours
  • Bersyukur with Al-Mighty greatness.
  • Always keep my feet on the ground, down to earth...
  • Love the support that been given from ma Gurlfren's and Ma loved ones! you're my ROCK!
  • Never do something bad because we lived in Karma, it sound cliche but "what's goes around comes around,"
  • Never expect people will RESPECTED you, when YOU don't know how to RESPECT others!
  • Learn to appreciate people and friend around YOU!
  • Chase what you Need, otherwise you WILL never gets it.
  • If you never ASK the answer will ALWAYS be NO
  • If you do NOT step forward you'll ALWAYS be in the same place.
JieJah's Say... Think about it!

#316...Who are you?

This few day make me realized of few things and I'm going to share in ma blog, if any of you people read this do drop a comment...and this is came from ma heart.

1.Honest about yourself!

Maybe to some people that don't know that well they or you may think that I'm snobbish or in malay as "sombong". Usually its take me only a while to warm up and me usually will start to interact with people that surrounding me. To ma GF's and close friend they know this pretty well and knowing who i am. I often receive comment about they are afraid to talk to me! Look if you don't even look at me and talk to me how am i to give some feedback. Despite how much i hate that person i still will smile and acknowledge her present because ma mum teach me well. Plus i always been judge the way i dress, so what if i dress to the occasion or i dress well?
That is just me, i like to presentable and neat. Its just pain in ma ass when i received some comment "they afraid to talk to me just because of ma appearance," to me that is such a lame excuse.
Period! I have seen many people despite races, background, education etc can accept me as who i'm! To this people I'm really elated!!

2.Wear the cloth not the cloth wear's you

After certain time and few events that i attend i realized many people or specifically young people became the fashion victim, which make me wonders? why you want to follow that person styles or they way they dress them selves...Yes, i have to agree that we should be up to date in but don't over do it..when you over do it you will loose who you really are.

To ma opinion, you dress comfortably and be yourself. Example from your styling of yer hijab or hair, shoe, handbag and etc..never loose your touch of who you are! and dress to occasion either you just hangout with famile and friends, weddings, events...its will show other your personality and trust me when you dress well it boost up your confident!

3.Its never to late to chase your dream

I believe in dream and passion, this two is among the key ingredients of road to success. The journey wont be easy but we should try before you surrender your self. This is your life you should have self determination for your future and don't let anyone come to interfere what you have in mind or your goal. My road as where i am now its not easy and honestly I'm still learning and eager to know more. Plus in the same time i want to improve to be best in ma field. Insyallah!

4. Appreciate people surrounding you

Actually this among thing i observe lately, and i realized that I'm really lucky to be surrounded by people that really accept and care as who you i am. Not all people do have this in their life and to see some of them take their friend or their family for granted it upset me. In many situation from husband and wife, child and family, relationships and many more.

How success you are, how cool you are that is determine who will care about you when you in great need. Trust me! our society really lack of this irregardless any races many have forgotten to show your appreciation. Its now how expensive is the item that you buy for them, its the thought that really count! Ma advice is not to late to think and appreciate people that surrounding you.

JieJah's Say...

This is ma general opinion and what i have discover this couple of weeks. This as reminder to us in many ways to come in the future!! Have a great day ahead...Cheers!

#275... Alaf baru & Peradapan

Post ini ajak berbeza sedikit tetapi ini sedikit sebanyak boleh melegakan perasaan saya yang agak membara sejak pagi tadi. Saya yakin dan pasti masing- masing mempunyai definasi sendiri mengenai adap.

Mengikut Wikipedia Adab, in the context of behavior, refers to prescribed Islamic etiquette: "refinement, good manners, morals, decorum, decency, humaneness".[1]  While interpretation of the scope and particulars of Adab may vary among different cultures, common among these interpretations is regard for personal standing through the observation of certain codes of behavior.[2] To exhibit Adab would be to show "proper discrimination of correct order, behavior, and taste

Naper nak kena Biadap macam tue sekali? Tidak kena mengena langsung kan. Nothing left for me to say..

Situasi:

Invitation penting sila invite kepada tuan punya badan..

Saya:

Sekian.

#252...Baby, Katherine Heigl & Josh Duhamel

I caught the trailer of Life as We Know It out of the corner of my consciousness and immediately dismissed it as a waste of my time..

I saw it last week and I enjoyed the movie (and cried the whole through!) Yes! me admit me EMO! and loved how easy it was to watch despite the heavy background story line. This being said, it is a great movie to watch with your girlfriends AND men in your life! Go and watched it ;)

The acting is great including that of little Sophie! As a parent you will totally relate and observe many small details and occurrences. And I can't stop going back to the way Messer was holding little Sophie in a semi-sitting n I am carrying a ball like position that actually look very comfortable for baby. And Sophie was taking her first steps in the movie, little does this couple know what that means!

I could go on and on you know! So to wrap this movie up, here are some lessons I've learned that I need to highlight :
  • Draw up your will, your revocable trust, and guardianship instructions, especially if in the future if i have a child.and get life insurance for him or her
  • Trying not to cry, as I did during this film, makes my eyeliner all over ma eyes (and end up mata lebam macam kena tumbuk), and I should just give up earlier to the facade and weep. It’s far less painful.
  • Men who are good with kids are super sexy. Especially if they look like Josh Duhamel.
    (This is super duper YUMMMMMMMY!!!!!!)
  • Romantic comedies also bash men too much.
  • Make sure your decision about your life partner or commitment
  • Eleven isn’t too young to be a good babysitter or whisperer.

So despite the heavy parts, Life As We Know It was indeed a distracting bit of entertainment, so go watch it guys!

#235... How much attention do you pay to your body?

1} Only women with a family history of breast cancer need to be concerned.
This is one of the biggest breast cancer myths. Approximately 70 percent of the women diagnosed with breast cancer do not have any identifiable risk factors. However, having one first-degree relative (a parent, sibling or child) that had breast cancer gives you an approximate double risk factor. If you have two or more fist-degree relatives with the disease, you are now in the increased risk area.

2} I am too young to get breast cancer
While the percentages of women under 35 are small, the potential is still there. The risk factors increase as you age. It’s important to maintain correct information and get the right breast cancer facts.

3} Wearing an underwire bra will increase my chances of getting breast cancer
This is considered to be one of the urban breast cancer myths. There were claims that underwire bras compress the lymphatic system of the breast causing toxins to accumulate. These claims have been debunked as unscientific. The consensus is that neither the type of bra worn nor the tightness has any connection to breast cancer risk.

4} Most breast lumps are cancerous
Approximately 80 percent of the breast lumps found is caused by benign changes, cysts and other conditions. Doctors recommend that any breast change should be reported. Your physician may request a mammogram, ultrasound or biopsy to determine if the change is cancerous.

5} Exposing a tumor to the air during surgery causes cancer to spread
As far as scientists can tell from research done so far, surgery doesn’t cause cancer to spread. Surgery may expose the fact that cancer is more widespread more than previously thought. Although not found in humans, some animal studies have shown that removing the primary tumor has allowed some metastatic cancers to grow.

6} Breast implants can raise your cancer risk
Women with breast implants do not have any higher risk factors than other women. There have been other problems associated with breast implants, including implant rupture and silicone leakage.

7} All women have a one in eight chance of getting breast cancer
A major part of breast cancer awareness is getting at the truth. While your chance of getting breast cancer increases as you get older, a woman’s risk factor is about 1 in 233 by the age of 30 and 1 in 8 by the time she has reached 80. Approximately 5 percent to 10 percent of the roughly 200,000 American women diagnosed with breast cancer each year have an inherited gene mutation (BRCA-1 and BRCA-2) that puts them at higher risk for developing the disease. Today’s treatments can vary from a minor lumpectomy to full treatment including breast cancer chemotherapy.

8} Using antiperspirant increases your chances of getting breast cancer
Although the American Cancer Society has indicated this is not so, they admit that more research needs to be done in this area. One small study did find traces of parabens in tiny breast cancer tumor sample. Parabens are used as preservatives in some antiperspirants and have weak estrogen-like properties. The study could not correlate any connection between the parabens and breast cancer nor identify the source of the parabens. This is a bit of a controversial topic. According to the Natural Medicine website: “Aluminum, a common ingredient in deodorant and antiperspirant, is often linked to Alzheimer’s and brain disorders and is a possible risk factor in breast cancer.”

9} Small-breasted women have less chance of getting cancer
There is no link between the size of a woman’s breast and the risk of getting breast cancer. Larger breasts may be more difficult to examine using clinical breast exams. All women, no matter what the breast size, should have medical examinations.

10} Breast cancer is always in a lump form
While a lump may indicate breast cancer, it can also be one of the many benign breast conditions. Women should pay attention to any breast change including: swelling, breast or nipple pain, dimpling or skin irritation, nipple retraction (turning inward), scaling or thickening of the breast area, redness or discharge from the nipple other than milk. Mammograms may detect cancer that had no symptom at all. Inflammatory breast cancer (IBC) is a rare type that doesn’t include a lump. Symptoms include: swelling, redness, itchiness, warmth of the breast, tenderness and pain, skin that appears thick and pitted (like an orange peel) or with ridges and small bumps, a breast area that appears bruised or swollen lymph nodes under the arm.

Share with all the peeps here, some myths about Breast Cancer:

It is astounding that our society has shared so little true information and yet spreads a wealth of breast cancer myths. Misinformation abounds. For example, did you know that you can get breast cancer after a mastectomy? Men also get breast cancer. There is no correlation between caffeine and breast cancer. Some women have fibrocystic (lumpy) breasts and have no higher risk for cancer. Mammograms do not expose you to a higher risk factor for cancer.

If you are ever in question about a breast change, always seek counseling from your medical provider
